Fellowship 2026 applications are now closed. Here is what comes next

First, thank you. The response to Fellowship 2026 was incredible, and the applications are now closed.

If you were not selected this time, or you missed the window, please do not feel discouraged. Being part of Dev Weekends was never only about one program. We are building something bigger, and we want you in it.

Here is the honest picture of what is happening and how you can keep growing with us.

Keep an eye on everything

We are about to open more doors, so the most important thing you can do right now is stay close to the community. Watch our latest happenings, join the conversations, and tell your friends whenever something new goes live.

  • Watch the sessions on YouTube
  • Join the WhatsApp channel where all public sessions are shared
  • Join the Discord for discussions with everyone
  • Follow us on Instagram for all our programs and updates
  • Keep an eye on our LinkedIn too, because that is where we announce the big things

A self-paced fellowship is coming

For those who were not selected, we are opening a self-paced fellowship soon.

All of our sessions are public and published to YouTube, so you can already start learning at your own pace. On top of that, our internal system is being updated for the public. Once it is ready, it will give you automated mentorship based on our roadmaps and tracks, matched to your background.

We will soon open forms where those who were not selected can put in their data. We will use that information to start sharing access to resources and mentorship with you, so you can work in a self-paced, self-accountability way.

This might take one to two weeks, so please keep an eye on everything happening, and let your friends know as soon as it is live.

The route open right now: DSOC

The one route open today is DSOC (Dev Weekends Summer of Code) contributions.

DSOC might get delayed a little, and active contributors may be picked up along the way. We will be selecting active contributors each month, so someone selected for month one might not be selected again. That means there is always a fresh opportunity to get in. Just keep contributing.

More details are here: Dev Weekends Summer of Code

In short

  • Fellowship 2026 applications are closed
  • Sessions are public, so start learning now on YouTube
  • A self-paced, automated mentorship track is coming in the next week or two
  • Forms for those not selected will open soon, so keep watching
  • DSOC contributions are open today, with new contributors picked every month

Thank you for your patience, and welcome to the next chapter.
